The 30th Arabian Travel Market (ATM) held at the Dubai World Trade Centre this month brought together more than 2,800 exhibitors from over 150 countries, attracting a staggering 40,000 visitors. This grand tourism expo proved to be a platform for showcasing the industry's potential and igniting discussions on sustainability in travel.

Body: The South African stand stood out with its captivating imagery capturing the essence of the country's wildlife and stunning landscapes. The well-decorated booth, accompanied by a small café serving cups of aromatic rooibos tea, created an immersive experience for visitors.

The improvements seen at this year's expo were remarkable, especially when compared to the disappointing showing in the previous year. The Dubai World Trade Centre embraced the theme "Working towards Net Zero," calling on exhibitors to contribute to the advancement of sustainability within the travel space.   Ahmed can play pieces by Beethoven, Mozart and Bach, and composes his own music. His mother, Eiman Al Aleel that in 2012 doctors said Ahmed, who was then a year and eight months old, had autism. “We took him to many  after he stopped talking or making eye contact,” said Ms Aleeli.  “I am blessed with a loving husband. He is a dedicated father and family man who is taking care of all the needs of our other three children since I am giving 90 per cent of my time to Ahmed,” she said.
