Hospitalisation rate increases Covid-19 risk for US seniors
Covid-19 -related hospital admissions are increasing rapidly in the United States. These alarming signs pose a threat to seniors and older citizens in the country. Due to rising Covid-cases, older adults are dying. Older citizens might face risks during the winter season. Nursing home residents are also at great risk. An 81-year-old nursing home resident Bartley O’Hara reportedly of Washington reportedly said, “If you’re 21, you probably should worry about your granny. We’re all in this together.” Reportedly, Covid-19-related hospitalisations increased by more than 30% in two weeks.
