North Korea’s Kim Yo Jong Vs South Korea’s Defense Minister Row Over Missiles Launch
Kim Yo Jong, the sister of the North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, said on Sunday, “South Korea may face a serious threat.” She indirectly slammed South Korean Defense Minister Suh Wook for his recent comments on North Korea launching missiles toward South Korea. Kim Yo Jong is a leading voice in inter-Korean relations. According to North Korea ’s state media, she said in a reported statement, “The senseless and scum-like guy dare mentioned the ‘preemptive strike’ at a nuclear weapons state, it will never be beneficial to South Korea, either.” She referred to Suh Wook as the “guy” in her statement. Wook recently said that South Korea will take a ‘preemptive strike’ against North Korea if there is any indication of the North launching missiles toward South Korea. North Korea threatens to use nuclear weapons to ‘eliminate’ South Korean army if it launches a pre-emptive strike. But Kim Yo Jong, Kim Jong Un's sister also says "South Korea is not our principal enemy"....
