The UAE President issues law establishing Abu Dhabi Transport Company
The President of the United Arab Emirates ( UAE ), His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has issued a law establishing the Abu Dhabi Transport Company in order to support the Emirate’s integrated transport ecosystem. As the ruler of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan would support the Abu Dhabi Transport Company in order to improve sustainable transport services to citizens and residents in the country. The Abu Dhabi Transport Company will be an affiliate of the Supreme Council for Financial and Economic Affairs, the entity that sets Abu Dhabi's public policy on finance. The company would operate and develop transport systems in urban and rural areas across the UAE. The transport company is set to develop rail systems and all other related services and operations across the country.
