  Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the vice president and the deputy prime minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as well as the minister of the presidential court, has attended an iftar banquet hosted in his honour by Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan, the advisor to the President of the UAE. On the auspicious occasion of Ramadan, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan exchanged greetings with guests and other leaders.   The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) of the United Arab Emirate s (UAE) has announced the official working hours for private sector employees during the holy month of Ramadan. The UAE’s Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation said that the number of working hours would be reduced by two during Ramadan 2023. The working hours have been reduced from eight hours a day to six hours a day. If a worker works beyond six hours a day, it may be considered overtime. Employees need to pay their employees an extra amount if they work additional hours. In the UAE, workers in the private sector work for an average of 48 hours a week. However, they would work for an average of 36 hours a week during the holy month of Ramadan. The ministry issued a circular in this regard.
