UAE: Dubai Airline announces increased flights to 18 destinations
Emirates Airlines have boosted operations by aiming to increase flights to 18 destinations over the next five months, according to a report. Emirates has already increased its operations by 31% in terms of total available seat kilometres since the start of its financial year. On Tuesday, Dubai Airline announced plans to increase seat capacity in its northern summer schedule starting from March 26. In recent months, the Dubai Airline added 251 weekly new flights on existing routes and reintroduced services to five cities. It also has further plans to boost seat capacity. Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Chief Commercial Officer, reportedly said, "Emirates continues to expand its global network and deploy its capacity to meet travel demand across the world.” The airline aims to reintroduce the iconic double-decker for Glasgow on March 26, Casablanca on April 15, Beijing on May 1, Shanghai on June 4, Birmingham on July 1, Kuala Lumpur on August 1 and Taipei on August 1.
