Protecting the environment is the UAE’s priority, says President Sheikh Mohamed
The President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has said that his country remains committed to safeguarding the environment. He has said that the UAE ’s priority is to protect the environment and work to mitigate the effects of climate change. Hw wrote on Twitter, "As the UAE marks National Environment Day, we remain committed to advancing innovative solutions to benefit current and future generations.” He spoke about the environment a day before the 26th National Environment Day. He also talked about the 28th Conference of the Parties (COP28). He said that the UAE would work in pursuit of a more sustainable future. The COP28 to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) is scheduled to take place at Expo City, Dubai, from November 30 to December 12.
