PFI members gathering funds from Mideast to fuel unrest in India
Days after the Popular Front of India (PFI) was subjected to a harsh crackdown, Times Now has obtained information about how the members of the radical Islamic group reportedly gathered funding from the Middle East to incite unrest in India. The United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia , Turkey, Oman, and Kuwait, according to sources, have been providing money to PFI members to fund turmoil and bloodshed on Indian territory. It has been discovered that certain PFI members who are based overseas have been paying money to their NRI accounts and then transferring it to the leaders of the extreme Islamic group. The National Investigation Agency (NIA), Enforcement Directorate (ED), and state police agencies around India coordinated searches on September 22, 2022, in relation to allegations of sponsoring terrorism.
