Mission to Zero’ campaign to replace Emirate's future
The Environment Agency - Abu Dhabi (EAD) has set an aspirational, long-term target to achieve zero consumption of single-use plastics, zero waste generation, zero carbon emissions, and zero biodiversity impact through its 'Mission to Zero' public outreach campaign. This goal is a part of its future vision for the emirate of Abu Dhabi. The Agency has already made progress toward its "Mission to Zero" goal of eliminating single-use plastic. This will comprise a campaign with numerous offline and online activations aimed at the entire community, as well as businesses and departments of the government, as well as shops, eateries, and young people. In order to decrease their dependency on single-use things and minimise trash, Abu Dhabi residents are being urged to switch to sustainable environmental alternatives like reusable items.
