Man fakes death in UAE to avoid marrying lover
A young woman has sued her lover, claiming that he faked his death in order to avoid getting married to her and repaying the Dh215,000 that he allegedly borrowed from her. The 20-year-old Arab male allegedly stole the cash from the woman after telling her he had cancer and needed money to get treatment abroad. The woman, on the other hand, claimed in her lawsuit that she was seeing the defendant and that he had made a marriage proposal to her.
