From Foreign Waters

  The UAE 's commitment to humanitarian aid has been on full display with the recent delivery of 30 tonnes of medical supplies to Sudan. Working in partnership with the World Health Organization, the UAE has sent a plane carrying essential drugs, supplies for injury treatment, and emergency surgeries to the Port Sudan Airport. This delivery is particularly significant given the current situation in Sudan. The country is facing an escalating conflict that has left many injured and in need of medical attention. Prior to this delivery, WHO had already distributed supplies to health facilities in the country, but they were quickly exhausted due to the sheer number of injured.
