Made-in-India Eicher's Middle East and UAE debut Pro 2000 series trucks


The brand-new Pro 2000 series of light-duty vehicles has been introduced by Eicher Trucks and Buses in the Middle East and the United Arab Emirates.

The Eicher Pro 2000 series is equipped with cutting-edge innovations that, together with best-in-class fuel efficiency and better uptime, are intended to greatly increase revenue for owners. According to the company, this new line of vehicles has undergone extensive testing to provide clients in the UAE with best-in-class performance. The contemporary Eicher Pro 2000 series features variants of the Eicher Pro 2055XP, Pro 2065XP, Pro 2075XP, Pro 2080XP, Pro 2095XP, and Pro 2080XPT to satisfy application-specific customer needs. It can produce up to 150 HP.

According to Vinod Aggarwal, MD & CEO of VECV, "We are pleased to announce our new range of Eicher Pro 2000 trucks in accordance with our mission of promoting modernization in the CV business. These trucks have a variety of smart technologies that improve operational efficiency and put an emphasis on the comfort and safety of the driver in order to provide superior value proposition to clients in the region.”

With the launch of the Pro 2000 series, Eicher as a brand hopes to contribute to the growth of the area and will take care of the market's logistics and transportation requirements. This will bolster India's growing contribution and is consistent with continuing efforts to improve business ties with the UAE.

These trucks come with Smart features including cruise control, steering-mounted controls, intelligent driver information systems (IDIS), and touch-screen infotainment systems that increase driver productivity as well as Smart features like fuel coaching, MBooster+, and fuel efficiency enhancements. These cosy, reliable, and safe trucks provide improved uptime with longer service intervals, thus boosting our customers' revenue.

Russian central bank hikes rates amid the Ukrainian crisis

  Russia's central bank on Monday raised its key policy rate to 20 per cent from 9.5 per cent amid the Ukrainian crisis. The western countries imposed harsh sanctions against the country, which affected the Russian economy. The central bank also ordered companies to sell 80 per cent of their foreign currency revenues to manage the fallout of harsh economic sanctions. The West pummelled the country with economic sanctions over Russia’s invasion of Ukraine . Reportedly, the central bank said in a statement that external conditions for the Russian economy have drastically changed after Russia invaded Ukraine.
