After catastrophic earthquake, Turkish president praises UAE for its support

UAE

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has expressed gratitude to the UAE's rulers and citizens for helping the nation recover from the terrible earthquake. In a video message presented at the World Government Summit in Dubai on Tuesday, the leader conveyed his thanks.

His Majesty Erdogan's address was heard by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai.
Since the catastrophe, the UAE has been providing aid to those in Syria and Turkey who have been impacted by the earthquake. To deliver tonnes of vital relief items like blankets, tents, medical equipment, and other humanitarian products, the nation has built air bridges.
The Slahiye district's 40,000 square metre Emirates Relief Field hospital has begun offering the victims all-inclusive medical care, including psychological rehabilitation.

Erdogan emphasised the role that Emirati teams have played in the recovery of survivors and care of the injured. The "Gallant Knight/2" operation has received assistance from the Ministry of Defense from Turkey and Syria.

One of the first nations to respond to the emergency was the UAE. After the earthquake, the nation mobilised rescue teams and coordinated relief efforts for us, showing its solidarity with Turkey and providing a great deal of support," added Erdogan.

He continued by saying that Turkey would never forget the UAE's prayers and help.
He continued, "By standing with us, you showed the value of global cooperation and efforts during disasters."

In Turkey and Syria, there have been more than 37,000 fatalities. Rescue efforts are in full swing in both nations, and several survivors have already been extricated from the rubble about a week after they became trapped. According to Erdogan, "We have gathered all the available resources in the nation to rehabilitate the damaged areas."
