UAE- India discuss ways to enhance bilateral ties
In an effort to enhance their bilateral ties, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin
Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, who is also the Deputy Supreme
Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi
discusses ways to have a mutual growth in the issues which are of common
interests to the two countries.
The two leaders
discussed on Thursday over on a phone call about how the two can move forwards
with their bilateral relations and spread light over the strategic partnership
where they will also be looking at the regional as well as global issues. They
have reportedly discussed the development in the region in the last few years.
Apart from this,
Crown Prince Zayed Nahyan and PM Modi discussed the latest progress in handling
the Covid-19 pandemic and shared ways to help each other in this global crisis.
The two nations have also ensured each other of proper response and cooperation
in exchanging information, expertise with each other as they strengthen their
fight against the virus.
As per reports,
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed wished PM Modi on the occasion of the Republic Day of
India, celebrated on January 26. He also hoped for further development,
stability and prosperity with the ‘friendly’ people of India.
His Highness
also emphasized on the strong relation between India and the UAE in various
fields. The UAE is interested to develop these relations further and this time
it will mostly focus on economics, trade, technology, energy and other such
domains providing equal benefits to the both the countries.
PM Modi also in
turn expressed his willingness for bettering India’s relationship with the UAE
while also looking for ways and opportunities for investment in the emirati
nation. India too wants to strengthen its relationship in every field with the
UAE, PM Modi reportedly stressed.
Both the countries are currently actively vaccinating their population and the UAE is moving ahead of its promise of vaccinating 50 percent of its population in the first quarter itself while India is manufacturing 5,000 vaccine doses every minute, most in the world.
