Sustainability Pavilion welcomes visitors ahead of Dubai Expo 2020

Investors and businessmen all around the world are eagerly waiting for the Dubai 2020 expo and the authorities who are involved in making it all come together are also putting their best foot forward to ensure that nobody is left disappointed by the preparations for the Expo.

A section of the Expo opened for the tourists and residents on Friday for the first time since its announcement. This time, keeping one of the sub themes--sustainability--of the expo in consideration, a sustainability pavilion has been created, which is essentially a huge sunshade that encircles all over by solar-powered trees. The enormous facility also includes green energy solutions.

Nine months ahead of the expo’s formal inauguration, this section became the first to open to accept visitors. In the following months, two other pavilions based on the theme of mobility and opportunity will debut. The probable month for this April, with which all the three pavilions will be launched under pavilions premiere

The beautiful disc-shaped constriction covers the world fair scheduled for October this year. Soon other structures will be open to the visitors and they will be able to explore the areas and see how the installation practices take place. The sustainability pavilion offers all sorts of information regarding environment and technology and those interested can learn a lot from this.

There is a lot to be known about the world fair before one visits it. But as there is only one pavilion made available to the visitors as of now, those curious about what they should expect after they make a visit must know that it will be open five days a week and the number of visitors will also be limited.

Once you enter the area, you will visit tall solar studded trees which will be continuously rotating to track the sun. Along with interactive scenes will be created by displays which are placed right under a ringed roof. This roof panel is special in itself as it is dotted with more thousands of photovoltaic panels.

The demographic of this exhibition is quite vast as the experience suits all ages along with outdoor experience trips planned for people. Food, fun and entertainment, everything is done to ensure the interest of people. Even a playground has been created inside the expo venue for children.

Starting from Friday, the gates to visit Pavilion will be open till April 10. As for the timing, from Tuesday to Thursday, it will be open from 3 PM to PM while from Friday to Saturday, it will welcome visitors from 4 PM to 10 PM.

There are strict regulations with respect to timing as well as Covid-19 protocols. Physical distancing will be ensured and to practice it efficiently, booking can only be done in advance.
