Here’s how Abu Dhabi celebrating COVID warriors

Abu Dhabi is one of those places where not only heavy measures are being taken to beat corona but also salute the warriors who have fought and come out strong as warriors after being infected with COVID-19.

UAE's Covid-19 warriors can enjoy a free visit to Abu Dhabi's Umm Al Emarat Park, along with discounts on select food and beverage outlets. This is a great way to motivate people and create a hope of survival for the people who have already contracted the virus. And the government has also decided to celebrate the frontline--doctors and nurses, who can avail this process.

"UAE's frontline healthcare professionals will be granted 10 complimentary entry tickets to the park, valid until the end of this year, in addition to a 25 percent discount at select food and beverage (F&B) outlets as a gesture of gratitude for their services during the Covid-19 pandemic," the park said.

According to Khaleej Times, Rasha Kablawi, head of Umm Al Emarat Park's corporate affairs and communications department, said, "Umm Al Emarat Park is incredibly grateful for the steadfast commitment of frontline healthcare workers in the UAE who have been working tirelessly and sacrificing their personal time to protect the health and safety of the wider community during these uncertain times. These exceptional circumstances called for everyone to stand together, and while no gesture will ever be enough to give back to our frontline workers, this is the Park's small token of appreciation. This special offer to our healthcare workers would not have been possible without the support of our partners."

In fact, according to a survey done by The Department of Community Development (DCD) in Abu Dhabi, 58% of the residents believe that life will return to normal within this year itself owing to the tough and emergent measures taken by the Abu Dhabi officials.

This itself is enough to cite an example of how much trust the people have on the Abu Dhabi government and how well the Abu Dhabi is managing this global pandemic. Even as Abu Dhabi eased certain restrictions, it is keeping necessary precautions on tips without a fail and with the cooperation of the public, the efforts are turning into a success.
