UAE- National Food Security


I want to share something engaging about what I read today. It’s how the UAE is utilizing present day innovation and development in agribusiness as it anticipates delivering its own food in order to lessen depending on imported food items later on. Looking at UAE's environment system and food security, I noticed that UAE was carrying out an economical way to deal with food security by taking on present day innovation and advancement as a vital part of its National Food Security Strategy.

 

For me, The potential undertakings that will carry generally benefit to economy, climate and food security is Abu Dhabi's yearning Seawater Energy and Agriculture System  project that targets creating elective flying biofuel alongside fish. As they continue to reinforce the economy by supporting the development of various areas in the country, like avionics, oil refining, agribusiness and hydroponics and it smells success already.

Russian central bank hikes rates amid the Ukrainian crisis

  Russia's central bank on Monday raised its key policy rate to 20 per cent from 9.5 per cent amid the Ukrainian crisis. The western countries imposed harsh sanctions against the country, which affected the Russian economy. The central bank also ordered companies to sell 80 per cent of their foreign currency revenues to manage the fallout of harsh economic sanctions. The West pummelled the country with economic sanctions over Russia’s invasion of Ukraine . Reportedly, the central bank said in a statement that external conditions for the Russian economy have drastically changed after Russia invaded Ukraine. The bank further said that the rate hike from 9.5 per cent to 20 per cent will ensure a rise in deposit rates to levels needed to compensate for the increased depreciation and higher inflation.
