Dubai crown prince attends the first-ever graduation ceremony of female cadets.

First group of female cadets have graduated from Dubai police academy and the crown prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed has paid tribute to them as he offers his congratulations to the team for taking up the mantle of ‘serving and protecting the nation.’ While congratulating all the 29 cadets, he said that the United Arab Emirates is ready to support the progress of Emirati women. The cadets have trained for four years in the DUbai Police Academy. Sheikh Hamdan further said that Emirati women successfully proved their merit on the local and global stage. UAE- The most generous country for international humanitarian needs.

UAE, Israel cross the speed bump, confirm on normalizing diplomatic relations.

In a landmark concord, the United ArabEmorates and Israel have decided to normalize the diplomatic relations between each other on Thursday where Donald Trump, President of the United States was deemed the broker between the two. This effort and agreement for normalization of the relations comes after Israel assured of suspending annexation of occupied West Bank territory. This move by Israel has reinstated sovereignty to the areas of the West Bank that were planned to be annexed by the Israeli forces. The confirmation of this came through a tweet by the Abu Dhabi crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed. Beirut Blast: UAE freight medical aid to Lebanon.

The United Arab Emirates has contributed to the aid to Lebanon after the capital city of the country suffered a huge blast two days ago. On Wednesday, the Emirate supported the country after a deadly explosion took place in the evening of Beirut that killed 113 lives and left more than 4000 missing. International Humanitarian City in Dubai had sent 30 tonnes of medical supplies for the relief initiative. UAE: Abu Dhabi successfully conducts first ever bone marrow transplant.

was only last month when Abu Dhabi Stem Cell Centre had announced first ever successfully conducted bone marrow transplant in the United Arab Emirates and now the ADSCC has inaugurated the Abu Dhabi Bone Marrow Transplant programme, AD-BMT. In a first for the UAE, the bone marrow transplant was conducted on a patient with multiple myeloma which is a form of blood cancer. This method is usually used to treat patients with hematological and oncological illness. In the UAE, a lot of people die due to cancer. It ranks third in the reason for the deaths in the middle eastern country. But it was only this year that bone marrow transplant was introduced. Now to the satisfaction of many Emirati citizens, they can receive treatment in the country itself without having to move to a foreign place without their family members.
