These were announced formally by the Ministry of Economy recently and remain as the latest move in the series of initiatives by Emirates to enhance oversight of the trade and circulation of gold in line with international standards. The new regulations will expect regulated businesses to comply with these new rules. Those found in breach of the regulations face fines in the range of Dh50,000 to Dh5 million ($13,623 to $1.36m). Saudi Airlines cancels free 'luggage first' service during Hajj

  The free "luggage first" step of Saudi Airlines' departure process for pilgrims who completed the Hajj on Thursday has started.   In collaboration with Jeddah Management Company, the first-of-its-kind transportation service was operated last month. 24 hours prior to the trip, the service picked up the pilgrim's luggage from their lodging in Jeddah, Makkah, or Madinah, transported it to the airport , and checked it in on their behalf.   During a visit to JMC's luggage scanning facilities, Hani Al-Hitairshi, general manager of Saudi Airlines' domestic stations, spoke with the media.
