UAE - 1 Billion Meals Drive


I want to share this great initiative of UAE. It’s how the UAE's 1 Billion Meals drive has begun disseminating food supplies in 13 nations in under three weeks after its send off, toward the start of Ramadan. The drive, coordinated by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, has begun dissemination tasks in participation with the UN's World Food Program, the Food Banking Regional Network, the Mohammed canister Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Establishment, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, the UAE Food Bank, and a few neighborhood good cause and helpful associations in the recipient nations.

 

The 13 nations where dissemination has started are Nigeria, India, Sudan, Jordan, Lebanon, Kyrgyzstan, Egypt, Tajikistan, Uganda, UAE, Kosovo, USA, and Albania using the current field and strategic organizations of the drive's functional accomplices and this kind of initiative is not only heart warming but also a good role model for other countries.

  Ahmed can play pieces by Beethoven, Mozart and Bach, and composes his own music. His mother, Eiman Al Aleel that in 2012 doctors said Ahmed, who was then a year and eight months old, had autism. “We took him to many  after he stopped talking or making eye contact,” said Ms Aleeli.  “I am blessed with a loving husband. He is a dedicated father and family man who is taking care of all the needs of our other three children since I am giving 90 per cent of my time to Ahmed,” she said. Enrolling Ahmed in kindergarten and then in school was a big challenge. “One kindergarten told me accepting Ahmed in their facility would tarnish their reputation,” Ms Aleeli said.
